Hello! Welcome to Class CW's web page. Our class consists of 23 children, Mrs.Winterburn and Mrs.Hill, who helps us in the mornings.

Our topic for the next half term is food and in particular French food! We shall be learning the language and geography of France,and especially the French vocabulary of cuisine and produce found in various regions. The children will be practising ordering food in French in our very own class cafe!

We have been busy writing Winter poems and painting Winter scenes.Here are a selection of paintings :-

Our P.E lessons take place on Tuesdays amd Thursdays. Please ensure that your child has their kit in school for these days. The children have been working on gymnastic shapes and sequences.

Spelling lists will be given out to the children on Tuesdays. They will be attached to the weekly page in their Home/School Books. Please practise these spellings with your child. There will be spelling tests on the following Tuesdays so there is a week in which to learn them.

We've been looking at line symmetry in our numeracy lessons so when we went to Forest School we made some symmetrical pictures using natural materials! They looked brilliant. Here is a selection of them.

Table test will take place on Friday 5th March.
A reminder that our class cake stall will take place on Friday 5th March after school.
All contributions will be very welcomed. All proceeds will go to our class for books or activities which will be chosen by the class.
