Out and about at the Devon County Show
An excited group of children from Newton Poppleford Primary School travelled the short journey by coach to the Devon County Show. We had been invited to sing and dance at the Show. The singers sang on the huge Devon Education hub stage. The Maypole dancers performed in front of the stage using our own Maypole.
The BBC filmed the dancers and interviewed Mrs Raffell, our music teacher. The dance and interview was broadcast on the BBC South West Spotlight news programme later that evening.
