Next week is Maths Week.
Year 6 are going to run a “Maths Circus” with Years R, 1, 2 and 3
- Marvellous Magical Maths (www.marvellousmagicalmaths.co.uk) are in all day on Tuesday 17th March to work with all our classes. The children will experience maths in an exciting and engaging manner.
- Helen Buttery from the Met Office e in Exeter is coming in on Wednesday, 18th March to do an activity called “Game of Life” which teaches about computer modelling.
- Bob Tubbs also from the Met Office in Exeter is coming in on Friday, 20th March to run a “Forecast Factory” with children in Years 4, 5 and 6.
During the Summer Term the school would like to offer a Parents Maths Forum where someone from the Devon Maths Team will talk about the new Maths Curriculum and how you can support your child at home.
Mr Morison will also be sending home information during Maths Week for each year group outlining activities you could do with your child to support them further in their maths.
