We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our ambitious, innovative primary school nestled near the stunning Jurassic Coast. Our school is an environment in which children are happy, safe and secure. We are seeking someone who can inspire and motivate our school community through excellence in teaching and learning.

As Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher to drive improvement, support staff, and ensure that every child thrives academically and personally. You will be a visible, proactive member of the leadership team, who will embody our strong ethos and ensure high standards in each and every moment of our school day.
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings strong experience of the primary age range inclusive of KS1 and EYFS, with a deep understanding of early child development and assessment.
- Is passionate about providing opportunities for all pupils – both within and beyond the classroom.
- Is prepared to innovate, implement change, and lead school improvement with clarity and purpose.
- Has a thorough knowledge of current research and educational thinking, and is committed to embedding evidence-informed practice.
- Can build strong, respectful relationships with staff, pupils, parents, and the wider community.
- leading English, with the skills to raise standards and inspire a love of reading and writing across the school would be desirable.
